About Mary Moylan
In 2008, while immersed within a PhD program in the UK, Mary found herself dealing with sleep issues, anxiety and recurring illnesses. Ultimately these health issues taught her not only the importance of dealing with the body directly, but also the importance of integrating the mind and the emotions. Mary discovered hypnotherapy and achieved immediate results. She became fascinated with both the art and science of this modality, and feels moved to share these tools with others.
Mary is a graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), the first nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy. Many consider HMI to deliver the most demanding and complete college Hypnotherapy training in the world. Founded in 1968, HMI was the first hypnotherapy college to become nationally accredited, by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, in Washington, D.C. Mary is a professional member and in good standing with the American Hypnosis Association.
As a member of the American Hypnosis Association (AHA), Mary has been active in educating about and promoting hypnotherapy. Mary brings a unique specialization for applying the tools of hypnosis in group trainings and educational settings.
Hypnotherapists are not licensed by the State of California as healing arts practitioners and some conditions may require medical or psychological referral.
